Not to mention the amazing landscapes that you can admire in this Region: the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, in Carnia; the morainic hills of the area surrounding San Daniele del Friuli, renowned for its delicious Prosciutto Crudo; the Collio of Gorizia (Lonely Planet’s Best in Travel 2016) with its food and wine specialities; the beaches of Trieste, Grado, and Lignano; the Karst region of Trieste.
