Skiing for everyone
Skiing with the whole family? In Tarvisio you can! The ski district features 33 km of blue, red and black slopes with artificial snow and the Sky by night on the ‘“Di Prampero” slope (which descends from Mount Lussari). You will be delighted to discover a variety of slopes for both adults and children. If you love Nordic skiing, there are 60 km of tracks, including the Arena dedicated to Olympic champion Gabriella Paruzzi, which is certified for international competitions. In the Snow Park area of the Duca d’Aosta grounds (the Gold Park) you can execute spectacular evolutions.
A multicultural holiday
Thanks to its privileged position, from Tarvisio you can visit the most important tourist resorts in Italy, Austria and Slovenia all in the space of a single day. You can also visit Venice, the city of wonders, which is only 200 kilometres away. Departing from our hotel, we organise trips and excursions for large and small groups.
Dog sledding
An exciting experience in harmony with nature and the adorable huskies that will take you on a sled ride through the beautiful landscapes of the Tarvisiano. An unforgettable experience for the whole family, from adults to children.
Snowshoeing
Explore the secrets of the snow-capped mountains with the wind in the trees, the sound of your own breathing and the muffled rustle of footsteps on the blanket of snow.
Ice skating
At the Palavuerich ice rink in Pontebba, you can hire equipment to have fun with the whole family. And for the little ones, there are fun supports to prevent falls and learn faster!
The snow playground
Snow games, a toboggan and dinghy area, a skating rink and a practice slope for a child’s first experience on the snow. The site is located on the Piana dell’Angelo between Tarvisio and Camporosso.
Winter walks
“Snowshoeing” is an alternative to skiing and a safe way to explore the territory surrounded by snow-covered trees and the sounds of nature.
Rail bobsled
Right next to the Snow Fun Park is an adrenaline-pumping 1km track with 830 metres of downhill racing and almost 100 metres of vertical drop! The sleds have two seats so adults and children can enjoy the thrill of speed in safety.
Mount Lussari
The uniqueness of this mountain is given by the presence of a village on its summit, at 1790 metres above sea level, which is also a sanctuary and a symbol of the three borders. From here, the eye can admire a wonderful natural landscape of towering, majestic peaks.
You can reach the village via the Mount Lussari cable car or on foot, along the Pellegrino Trail. The long climb is rewarded with breathtaking views and the peace and tranquillity of the mountains.
The Fusine Lakes
The basin of the Fusine Lakes is one of the most fascinating places in the Eastern Alps. It lies just a few kilometres from Tarvisio, the last town before the borders with Austria and Slovenia.
The valley of the Fusine Lakes is like an enchanted world. The Lakes, of glacial origin, connected by gentle paths, are immersed in a dense spruce forest. All the giants of the Julian Alps are reflected upside down in the peaceful waters as peaceful little boats glide silently past ducks and mallards.
